Texas Flood Therapy Donkeys

T.E.X.A.S. Rescue Therapy Donkeys are headed to Hunt, TX. flood area to begin working with first responders, SAR teams, children, and families!

Our donkeys have been approved to be on location to offer mental health therapy to those affected by the tragic flooding, whether they are locals or any of the thousands that are supporting this rescue effort. The work is taking a mental toll on many by what they have experienced personally, or what is being seen by first responders, K9 SAR teams, or any of the individual volunteers. There will be long term effects from this type of emergency work, that most people never see in a lifetime. 

Our Therapy Donkeys will be there for anyone to pet, hug, or whisper their losses to, without judgement or interruption of their stories. T.E.X.A.S. Rescue (a 501c3 authorized nonprofit) is planning on returning to Hunt on a weekly basis, into the unforeseen future.
