"Peppy"

​Peppy is a 7-year-old papered Quarter Horse stallion, who had been with the same owner since he was a yearling. The previous owner sent him out for training at a young age and Peppy became the only horse owned by the gentleman as well as the only horse on the property. Unfortunately, the owner suffered severe medical issues and realized that his riding days were over. Peppy was placed for sale, but the owner felt that perspective buyers were too rough on him, so T.E.X.A.S. Rescue was contacted in hopes of finding him a safe home to land in. The family of the gentleman knew us and our love and care for animals and felt that this was in Peppy’s best interest.

Peppy made such an impression on the Executive Directors, that Vicki decided to adopt Peppy as her her new riding horse! A trip to the vet to be gelded is in Peppy’s immediate future.
